  Gondwana Rainforests, Queensland, Australia
Gondwana Rainforests of Australia comprises some 50 separate forest reserves along the east coast of Australia, between New South Wales and Queensland. Formerly known as the Central Eastern Rainforest Reserves, it was renamed Gondwana Rainforests fossil records show that it contains the same type of species as though in Gondwana.
The Gondwana Rainforests of Australia were inscribed as World Heritage Sites in 1986, during the 10th session of the World Heritage Committee, which met at Headquarters in Paris from 24 to 28 of November.

What to See in Gondwana Rainforests, Queensland
The Gondwana Rainforests are places to experience nature. There are national parks spread between Queensland and New South Wales that fall under Gondwana Rainforests. Among them, the areas in Queensland are Lamington National Park, Mount Chinghee National Park, Springbrook National Park, Mount Barney National Park and Main Range National Park.
The national parks in New South Wales that are part of Gondwana Rainforests are Barrington Tops National Park, Dorrigo National Park, Mount Warning National Park, New England National Park, Mebbin National Park, Nightcap National Park, Border Ranges National Park, Oxley Wild Rivers National Park, Washpool National Park, Willi Willi National park and Werrikimbe National Park.
In addition to the national parks, the following nature reserves are also listed under Gondwana Rainforests: Limpinwood Nature Reserve, Numinbah Nature Reserve, Mt Hyland Nature Reserve, Mt Seaview Nature Reserve, Banda Banda Flora Reserve, Turtle Rock Environmental Park, Telemon Environmental Park, Gilbert State Forest, Emu Vale State Forest, Gambubal State Forest, Teviot State Forest, Killarney State Forest, Burnett Creek State Forest, Cronan Creek State Forest, Palen Creel State Forest, Rabbitt Board Paddock Reserves, Prison Purposes Land, Wilsons Peak Flora Reserve, Amaroo Flora Reserve, Fenwicks Scrub Flora Reserve and Kerripit Beech Flora Reserve.
Location
When it was inscribed in 1986, the forests covered 3600 square kilometers in New South Wales. This was extended by an additional 592 square kilometers in Queensland in 1994.

It's not one site, it's about fifty different sites near each other across two states. If you are coming from outside Australia, you should pick a city as your base.
